Bisturí is a study tool that translates Spanish clinical notes and lets you save and organize the vocabulary you learn along the way.

You must be at least 16 years old, or the age of legal capacity to agree to these terms in your jurisdiction if higher, to use Bisturí. You’re responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for anything that happens under your account. Provide accurate information when you sign up.

Bisturí Pro is billed monthly or yearly through Stripe and renews automatically until you cancel. You can cancel anytime from your account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period, and we don’t offer partial refunds for unused time except where required by law.

Free accounts include a limited number of translations. Bisturí Pro includes unlimited translations and a monthly allowance of AI-generated practice quizzes; unused quiz allowance doesn’t roll over. We may change these limits or our pricing at any time, with notice for existing subscribers.

You keep ownership of the notes and documents you upload. You grant us a limited license to store and process that content solely to provide the service to you (for example, sending selected text to our translation provider). You’re responsible for having the right to upload whatever content you upload.

Translations are generated by an AI model and may occasionally be inaccurate or incomplete. Bisturí is a study aid, not a substitute for professional medical, clinical, or certified translation judgment. Use translations at your own discretion.

Don’t misuse the service: attempting to bypass security or the free-tier limit, abusing the API, uploading unlawful content, or interfering with other users’ access are all grounds for suspending or terminating an account.

You may stop using Bisturí and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Bisturí is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, including uninterrupted or error-free operation. To the extent permitted by law, we’re not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the past 12 months.

These terms are governed by the laws of Spain. Any dispute arising from these terms or your use of Bisturí will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Pamplona, Navarra, Spain, except where mandatory consumer-protection law gives you the right to bring a claim in your own country of residence.

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of Bisturí after a change means you accept the updated terms.
